Whilst in Nova Scotia last week I spent a cold wet afternoon painting a picture.
My friend Victoria said “shall we do some painting”, my instinctive answer was yes, followed by, but I don’t know how to paint, I’ve never done it before.
I chose some colours to work with and then looked at the blank canvas. Being a very visual person it seemed odd that I saw nothingĀ in my minds eye.
My mind was as blank as the canvas.
So I just picked up the brush and started painting, no thoughts, no reasoning, just letting the brush go where it wanted to go.I spoke not a word as I painted, just relished the peacefulness of a quite space and mind.

Once finished I sat back and looked at my painting as a whole for the first time.

I felt content and happy inside I would like to share my painting with you today.
